With no previous warning, Mediapro have Gol the green light to begin its broadcasts. The new DTT network is now on the air, offering female basketball games.
Gol is Mediapro's new channel, which joins Ten, Dkiss, Be Mad and Real Madrid TV to complete its DTT offer.
The network has the same name as the premium network that offered La Liga games during the last few seasons.
According to Spanish media platforms, the new network is working with temporary programming, "only to offer a sample" of the network's philosophy with no official directors.
Gol began its broadcasts with female basketball games from the FIBA championship and will continue this weekend with volleyball matches from the European tournament.
Mediapro has the goal to bid for Liga BBVA rights, both the broadcast TV games and the complete summaries of the games broadcast by TVE over the last season.
