Popular worldwide, the eSports trend and broadcasting gameplays is now becoming more popular in Latin America: Google launched YouTube Gaming, YouTube's platform specialized in videogames.

Through its official blog, Google announced the platform will be available, at first, in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and Spain.

YouTube Gaming provides access to over 25,000 games, with the option to subscribe to specialized networks and navigate in a world designed specifically for gamers.

The app also has a section devoted to game livestreams, which can be watched in Ultra HD, DVR, 360 formats and multi-camera.

"At YouTube, gaming content is among the most popular on the platform," said Alessandro Sassaroli, Associations manager at YouTube Gaming, on the company's blog. "This app brings you closer than ever before to other players and the world of gaming."
